Highpoint View Apartments

Residential

Highpoint Development, Whitley Bay

Client: Aspire Care Group
Duration: Completed March 2019
Value:£2.75 million
Location: Whitley Bay

The Highpoint View development is 14 no. townhouses built on the Promenade, in Whitley Bay. The project was a joint venture between Aspire Care Group and North Tyneside Council, and forms a part of the £36m Sea Front Masterplan, which is regenerating the coastline from St. Mary’s Lighthouse to Cullercoats Bay.

The properties, which are a mix of three, four and five bedrooms, all offer uninterrupted views with floor to ceiling balconies overlooking the promenade. Each property is also eco-friendly and include the latest automated technology to control heating and appliances.

The project was secured in open tender but was significantly over budget and as such Northern Bear worked with the client’s team to identify £0.5 million of potential value engineering to allow the works to proceed on site.

The works are now complete with the show home completed first in May to assist with sales on the project. Our site delivery team will continue to work with the client and the house purchasers to ensure any issues noted on occupation are dealt with as soon as they arise.

The client is giving the purchasers the opportunity to choose their own engineered wood flooring throughout the living areas and choices of kitchen and ceramic tile finishes to ensure these key items are individual to each purchaser.
