Client: North East Autism Society
Value: £400k
Location: Durham
This project comprised the fitting out of a first floor area above an existing new build autism training centre, which remained in occupation throughout the works.
A raised access floor was installed with full height partitions. Hardwood doors were fitted and new windows installed through the external building cladding. Full electrical and plumbing services were installed, including IT/data cabling, and a new kitchen was fitted. Finishes were provided throughout including flooring, walls and suspended ceilings.
Additionally, a new mezzanine floor and staircase were built across the existing live area, linking the two sides. A lift was also installed to provide access to the first floor.
As New Warlands Farm was in use throughout the project, care was taken to ensure that the client’s training activities within the centre could be carried out safely and with minimal disruption.
